The Quaranta Laboratory at Vanderbilt University Medical Center conducts cancer research, focused on deciphering cancer invasion. When the group needed a web presence, we built a regular Drupal website which goals were to advertise the science to prospecting students and to post a calendar of events.

With a growing team, the website became a central tool to the life in the lab. To answer the users' expectations, we integrated a new forum and a place for lab members to share methods. We also developed a 100%-web based inventory that keeps track of reagents, cell lines, kits, etc., complete with a custom-developed search engine.
